3. Admire the lavender fields

4. Visit the old castle of the Marquis de Sade

The Marquis de Sade lived at the Château de Saumane-de-Vaucluse part of his childhood, from 4 to 10 years old. Certainly these most beautiful years... The castle remained the property of the Sade family for 400 years. A visit to the castle is possible during the summer period and you can discover an imposing building.

5. Descend the Sorgue by canoe

On board a canoe, let yourself be guided by the river and discover beautiful landscapes. It is an easy, accompanied route that lasts about two hours. A cool moment to share with friends, family or couple!

6. Discover the 1st source of France (by its water level flowed per year)

La Sorgue takes its source in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse! A spectacular place when the source is bubbling and tumultuous (usually after heavy rains for several days). On the other hand, a quiet and soothing place on the days when you see a chasm.

7. Taste good wine AOP Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages-Gadagne

The plateau of rolled pebbles in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne allowed the production of wines. This one has its own name AOP Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages-Gadagne. Discover the 4 wineries of the village and enjoy such good wines there.

All summer find the Sunsets Winegrowers: stroll through the vineyards, meeting with passionate winemakers, discovery of a wine cellar and taste 3 glasses of wines in harmony with the dishes.

8. Walk through the Monts de Vaucluse and the Luberon

Amateur of walks and/or hikes, you are in the right place! Easy to difficult tours await you in the Monts de Vaucluse and the Luberon. Equip yourself with good shoes, a map or a Topo Guide and a hat.

9. Eating Provencal dishes
