From Ventoux to L'Isle sur la Sorgue
This medium-level bike tour with a distance of 35 kilometers from Velleron will take you to the following cities: Pernes les Fontaines, L'Isle sur la Sorgue and Le Thor.
Starting from Velleron, this stroll along the water will take you to Pernes-les-Fontaines, the hometown of Paul de Vivie, known as “Vélocio” (1853-1930), an emblematic figure of French cycling tourism who worked in particular to improve the derailleur. You will then reach L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, nicknamed the “Venice Comtadine”. Take time to stroll along its canals before joining Le Thor through orchards and cultivated fields.
