Guided tours of villages

Discover the rich and varied history of our 3 villages: Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Châteauneuf-de-Gadagane that has fascinated for centuries.

• Fontaine-de-Vaucluse: Thursday 9, 23 July and 13, 27 August - Appointment at the Tourist Office at 17:00
• L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue: Tuesdays 7, 21, and 28 July and 4, 18 and 25 August and 8 September - Appointment at the Tourist Office at 10.00 am

Sorgue ride in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

Follow a Sorgues ambassador exploring this river and its heritage on a refreshing stroll along the banks in the city centre.

Theatralized visits to the Thor

Throughout history or anecdotes, the theatrical tour of the Thoroise tour will make you discover the small and big people of old and today.

• Price: 5€, free -12 years

Semi-night hikes in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse

Hiking with sunset observation in the middle of the ride. The route takes the small trails (some stony passages) between Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and Lagnes.

The 1st part has a climbing profile to picnic on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Rhone Valley, from the Luberon to the Alpilles, from the Cevennes to the mountains of the Ardèche. A moment of sharing when everyone comes out of the bag his snack.

The 2nd part is carried out at night hence the need to have quality lighting (check the condition of the batteries before).

• Every Wednesday in July and August (from July 15!)
• Meeting on Place de la Colonne at 7pm in July and at 6:45pm in August
• Prices: 9€ or 12€ with the rental of the headlamp.

Gourmet walks in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

During the ride, accompanied by one of our passionate guides, you will admire the historical heritage and you will have the privilege of entering our professionals to taste the best of our territory. Delicacies or the art of living in our warm little towns in the Pays des Sorgues.

Tours (free) of the castle of Sade in Saumane-de-Vaucluse

Overlooking the village, this impressive fortress has nothing to envy the many castles of Provence... The richness of its heritage reflects part of the history of the Marquis de Sade.

• Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 18:00
• Full price: 5€, free for children up to 10 years old included
• Reduced price: €3/ €4 for 11-18 year olds included, students, press, PMR

Discovering the Canal in Saumane-de-Vaucluse: landscape and agriculture. On the banks of the canal, discover the secrets of the hydraulic works as well as the biodiversity present (dragonflies, amphibians, plants...). Discover the irrigation practices that shape the agricultural landscapes of our territory.

Take part in a track game to discover the territory in a fun way. Find hidden beacons as a family to understand plants, shrubs, small beasts and the surrounding landscape. For children under 6-7 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
