L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue hike by Terra Rando
An easy hike that will let you explore the heights of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and the Carpentras Canal. Walk along the banks of the canal from the hamlet of Saint-Antoine.
Setting off the from the hamlet of Saint-Antoine, to the north of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the route takes you along the banks of the Carpentras Canal. From the top of the hill, the panoramic view over the Luberon and the Rhône Valley is simply breathtaking. Half of the route is on dirt tracks and the other half is on tarmacked roads with very little vehicle traffic. It is the perfect choice for people who enjoy walking but have difficulty managing trickier paths and trails.
