Hiking in Le Thor by Terra Rando

An easy hike to discover the town of Le Thor, the Thouzon Hill, the Church of Notre-Dame-du-Lac, the belfry, the banks of the Sorgue and the Château of Thouzon.

Set off from the village of Le Thor to explore the Thouzon Hill and its medieval château. The site is classed as a historical monument and from here you can admire a superb panoramic view that takes in the plain of Comtat Venaissin, the Mont Ventoux, the Dentelles de Mont Ventoux, the Vaucluse Mountains, the Luberon and the Alpilles. The château's church is open to the public on the first and third Sunday each month, from 2 pm to 5.30 pm.
