Enjoy the serenity inspired by the River Sorgue as you stroll along its banks on your way from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue to Partage des Eaux, a true natural paradise.
This fun family walk will take you around 20 to 30 minutes, setting off from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue town centre (start behind the splendid orangey-coloured building 'Les Délices du Luberon' – Bassin Bouïgas Roundabout).
All along the way, you will find interpretation panels providing you with information about the river and, in particular, the animals and plants that live in and around it.
Partage des Eaux, where the river forks (the name means 'watershed'), is one of the best places in the town for a picnic, a rest by the water or lunch in a restaurant.
The route is not always in the shade, so we highly recommend wearing a hat.
