In Morières-lès-Avignon, Demazet la Cave invites you to discover the wines of a cooperative vineyard deeply rooted in the Gadagne region, between collective know-how and conviviality.

A vineyard shaped by the Gadagne region

The history of Demazet is part of a collective wine adventure that began in 1925. Today, the winery's winemakers cultivate nearly 450 hectares spread over several municipalities, including Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne and Le Thor. The rolled pebbles of the ancient bed of the Rhône and the clay-limestone hillsides contribute to the identity of the wines, available in particular in AOP Côtes du Rhône Villages Gadagne, AOP Côtes du Rhône and AOP Côtes du Rhône and IGP Méditerranée.

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan, Cinsault, Carignan or even Viognier and Roussanne compose a range of grape varieties that make it possible to produce cuvees with varied profiles. Among them, the Armoiries cuvée refers directly to the history and coat of arms of Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne.

Tasting and discovery in the cellar

The Demazet cellar is a meeting place for wines and producers in the region. The shop offers wines from the cellar as well as a selection of local specialties. Tastings, activities and visits can also accompany the discovery of the estate.

The winery welcomes individual visitors as well as groups, with guided tours available on request. It also has a car park, space for coaches and offers the rental of rooms.

Closed exceptionally on January 1st, Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, July 14th, August 15th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
