Grand Hotel Henri in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue: three entrepreneurs at the head of an iconic place!

Located in the center of L'Isle sur la Sorgue, the Grand Hotel Henri offers a refined escape, marked by the history and hospitality of a devoted trio. Portrait!

An institution in the heart of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the Grand Hotel Henri, is an emblematic place of life that has welcomed, for generations, visitors from all over the world (and even from L'Isle!) , for an event, a night or for extended stays. At the head today, a dynamic and fiery trio, in search of authenticity and excellence in each of their projects.

Redefining luxury in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

The Grand Hotel Henri today is first and foremost the meeting between three enthusiasts, Julien Toppin, Manon Toppin and Marco De Almeida. In 2015, three of them redefined this place, “dismantling” it, giving it back its soul and its letters of nobility. You should know that this Mecca of hospitality from Isloise has known several lives, but always Islois people and travelers have been loyal to it.

In 1969, Henri Toppin bought the building and its large park, which, at that time, touched an arm of the Sorgue. Three generations later, the hotel proudly bears its name, as a tribute or a testimony. For generations, the Toppin family has devoted their lives to this iconic establishment, shaping it not only into a luxury hotel, but above all into a true symbol of the city. Their dedication to excellence is reflected in every gesture that today contributes to the quality of welcome in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

Hospitality and refinement

The Grand Hotel Henri is distinguished by its refined hospitality, embodied by the owners. This passionate trio brings a warm soul to this iconic establishment, where every detail evokes elegance and comfort. Visitors are surrounded by a friendly atmosphere. The interiors, combining classicism and contemporary touches, reflect the history of the building while offering a modern experience. The rooms, with their careful decoration, offer a beautiful escape in privacy and calm.

The hotel aims to be a haven where hospitality is built into art, promising a stay in the heart of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue yesterday and today. Each moment spent at the Grand Hotel Henri is a celebration of the French art of living, where tradition and innovation meet to offer a memorable experience.

A know-how that is available: Their houses of excellence

The Grand Hotel Henri is constantly evolving and, while remaining faithful to the values for which it is renowned, the winning trio integrates modern innovations and ideas. This is how, in turn, the Petit Henri restaurant, the Eugénie pastry shop* and, most recently, the Grand Café de la Sorgue appeared.

Each establishment reflects the commitment to excellence. Pâtisserie Eugenie is famous for its sweet delights in an enveloping boudoir, while Le Petit Henri and its saucier chef offer local, subtle and refined cuisine, and the Grand Café de la Sorgue, a famous brasserie “à la Parisienne”, is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors.

As you will have understood, Julien, Manon and Marco are entrepreneurs determined to lead their houses to the heights of excellence. This portrait highlights not only their successes but also the lasting and virtuous impact for the city of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. We recommend 100%!

*Did you know? The Eugénie pastry takes its name from the Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III, who came to inaugurate the Fontaine de Vaucluse aqueduct in 1857. On this occasion, she stayed in these walls (currently Grand Hotel Henri). An anecdote worth sharing!
