Interview with Maison Lune, a duo of interior designers in L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Between heritage and modernity, they enhance places in Provence.
It is done. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is no longer just the capital of antique dealers. The city has become the epicenter of a true creative dynamic where heritage, art and culture are in constant dialogue.
At the heart of this excitement, Maison Lune stands out as a singular signature. Supported by a duo united in life and at work, the agency embodies a demanding and contemporary vision of interior architecture, deeply rooted in its territory.
For Céline and Benoît, doing business in Provence was never an option but an obvious one. Like many native people, they have chosen to build their family and professional cocoon here, where their roots are deep.
Benoît grew up in the building industry (his grandfather and father managed a company with more than 100 employees in the region). Very early on, the path was clear and interior architecture became his field of expression.
Then comes the meeting with Céline. Originally from here, she also comes from the same professional universe, she brings a strong artistic sensitivity. Instinctive creative, she transforms “little things” into successful achievements, thought out to the smallest detail.
Their complementarity is obvious and their common values, which are work, rigor and a profound entrepreneurial spirit, are inherited from their respective families. Their three children (Charlie, Jonah and Avril) are a source of energy, an essential vitality. All of this forms the foundations of Maison Lune.

The name sounds like a manifesto. Maison Lune evokes poetry, astrology and ambition at the same time. The one designed with the requirements of a Grande Maison, and the audacity of those who want to “catch the moon”.
The duo is particularly fond of complex, constrained, technical projects, those that require rethinking volumes, interacting with the existing, and revealing the hidden potential of a place. Where some see limits, they see creative opportunities.

At Maison Lune, interior architecture is, above all, about revealing the soul of a place. Valorization of built heritage, respect for materials, balance between heritage and modernity: each project is part of a logic of transmission and enhancement. The challenge is not to transform but to sublimate without distorting.

Choosing to set up here also means choosing a strong local ecosystem. The projects are carried out on the territory, in collaboration with local artisans and suppliers. For Isle sur la Sorgue Tourism, promoting talents like Maison Lune is obvious. They actively participate in the local economic dynamic and embody this new generation of entrepreneurs who are shaping the influence of the territory.
Create and enhance but above all, catch the moon!
