Basil and Calisson

Specializing in artisanal and regional products, I myself select all products with quality as the first criterion.

Our local producers and craftsmen, have a great know-how and work their products with passion.
They are the ones who are in the spotlight in my shop, because good regional recipes often pass on from generation to generation, must be perpetuated and made known.
You will find at Basil and Calisson, the flagship products of Provence of course, but also every year a selection of new products gleaned, at regional trade shows, and always on short circuit, most often, direct from the producer.
Gibassiers, shuttles, whole almond crunches, tapenades and other feet and packages, and pistou soup, are made here, at Fontaine de Vaucluse, by our master craftsman, for example.
It is the terroir, the quality, the history of the craftsman and its product that interest me, and only that; because when traveling it is this authenticity that you are looking for and that I want you to discover.
