Discover in this new issue of Object of the Month, the realization of Jean-Pierre Noble, art creator and upcyclist at the Nouvel VAG showroom in L'Isle sur la Sorgue!
Each month, we take you to the heart of antique dealers and artists in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in search of authentic objects and works of art.
Made from an old shell discovered using a metal detector near Verdun, this lamp created by Jean-Pierre Noble is a unique piece whose shape is due to the explosion of the projectile in the ground, which is what gave it this appearance similar to a flower or an octopus!
The whole is positioned on a reinforced concrete base, made from stone, cement and scrap metal.
Installed in Grenoble for several years, Jean-Pierre Noble decided to move to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in 2018. Creator at heart, he brings old objects to light through various assemblies to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are part of the Upcycling movement.
Upcycling is a new way to bring back to life objects and materials that are more useful and to transform them into more high-end products.
You can come and admire his creations from Thursday to Monday at the Nouvel VAG showroom of the Antiquaires de la Gare, 2 Avenue de l'Égalité.
