The art of Provençal figurines at La Crémade

Winter is the ideal season to plunge into the authenticity of Provence, and what better than to discover one of its most beautiful traditions: the manufacture of figurines?
In Saumane-de-Vaucluse, in a family workshop founded in 1929, Magali Mille-Montagard perpetuates this ancestral tradition. She creates figurines in raw earth, painted by hand with the ochres and oxides typical of our region, thus offering a real journey to the heart of Provence.

Open all year from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the workshop invites you to dive into a world of colors and know-how in the heart of an old farmhouse in the Monts de Vaucluse.
