Pétrarque et Laure

Enjoy at Pétrarque et Laure on a terrace shaded by plane trees on the edge of Sorgue, specialities of game and trout, but also other Provencal specialities.

The restaurant was a former horse relay (1480) subsequently transformed into an inn. It was in 1889 that it became a hotel/restaurant under the name of the famous poet Petrarch. Today and since 1981 it is only a restaurant.

The Petrarque and Laure Restaurant is, in its recent history, a family affair. You will discover the know-how of Valentin, masters of the place for 3 generations, today embodied by the requirement of Frédéric Valentin, chef of the restaurant and his brother Thierry, chef de salle who will ensure your comfort throughout the meal.
