Portrait of an essential decorative address in L'Isle sur la Sorgue

Côté Parc is a 1,000 m² decoration store in L'Isle sur la Sorgue! Kiosks, furniture, counters, bookcases, lighting, and thousands of other objects...

Côté Parc is obviously that place in the city that you notice and that you do not forget: it is a real institution in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue that everyone likes to photograph.

This decoration shop mixes a lot of old and a bit of new, antiques, flea market objects and furniture. You can find everything from the smallest object to the most extravagant of rooms.

A visit is not enough to see everything, there is something everywhere and for almost all tastes.

The master of the place

For 30 years, Gérard has been the owner of the place, accompanied successively by his sister Nelly and his partner Florence. It reflects the place he dared to create: daring and surprising.

The place makes a show on the avenue with this unusual facade, beautiful and always cared for: a joyful bazaar! He likes to say that when you love, you don't count. So in 30 years, they have never closed. They did not miss any Faire à la Flea Market, the unmissable event that is talked about so much.

Moreover, this city where Gérard has always worked, there is a special bond that unites them.

A big fan of flowers and nature, he carefully chooses the plants that adorn everywhere: cyclamens and mimosas in winter, hydrangeas in spring, red heathers in autumn... Over the months, he cuts and cleans the banks and the river. Everything should be in harmony.

For him, his life at Côté Parc is nothing but a matter of pleasure and emotions. He does not choose at random and works at heart... Sometimes not without excess, like the day he bought 300 coffee grinders (from fine collector's items to those of very low value).

The shop

Hidden at the back of the shop is the arm of the Sorgue river, this view that looks “park side” in reference to the city's beautiful park: Gautier Park.

At Côté Parc, we are happy to give you personalized advice for both interior and exterior decoration. His' leitmotiv ': to make people happy with not much.

They have also extended their expertise when it comes to orienting you in the city. He is very happy to say that it is an annex to the Tourist Office (because it is open all the time) and inside the large cabinet to the right of the counter (which is called a perpetual one: furniture with a large number of drawers for those who don't know) are the maps of the city. He will be sure to show you a good table or the direction. For more information and advice, the Tourist Office is located next to the church, in the heart of the city!

If there is an anecdote to share, a beautiful memory to tell... He remembers that one day, a small group of South Koreans came and ordered an entire container of unusual and ancient objects... for the national museum. Here is a source of pride!

Take your time, go there several times if you can and enjoy this pretty temple of decoration.
