Abbey Saint-Hilaire - Ménerbes

The Abbey of Saint Hilaire de Ménerbes is a private historical monument since 1961 that welcomes visitors all year round for guided tours to this exceptional site.

8 kilometres from Via Domitia, the Abbey of Saint-Hilaire, which stands between Ménerbes and Lacoste, was founded by hermits of the Order of the Carmites, in the 13th century, upon their return from Palestine.

Privately owned, this beautifully restored conventual complex preserves a refectory and garden with splendid views of the Luberon.
