Dongier Antiquities

In L'Isle sur la Sorgue, the Hotel Dongier brings together antique shops selling antique furniture from the 16th to the 20th centuries, religious art, paintings, earthenware, curiosities, art objects and design in an exceptional location.

The Hotel Dongier Antiquities is an antique gallery located at 15, Esplanade Robert Vasse in Isle sur la Sorgue, on the city's main artery.

It is the former Saint Martin inn created in 1600, redesigned in 1693 on the plans of the architect of King Jean Péru d'Avignon.

It was a beautiful and important inn on the Isle of Venisse that had 5000 inhabitants as well as a post house on the road from Avignon to Digne.

Located on the axis that favored the grouping of antique dealers, it became an antique gallery in 1998. Today, 30 antique galleries have been set up under the shades of the garden. Each antique dealer driven by passion and high standards has their own specialty and presents antique furniture from the 16th to the 18th century, design, religious art, mirrors, bronzes, paintings, earthenware, curiosities and art objects.

This site is intended to be a place of exchange in the noblest sense of the word, at the crossroads of culture and ideas.

In an exceptional location steeped in history, the Hotel Dongier brings together antique dealers offering exceptional objects from all periods (from the Renaissance to the present day, from Provence, France and Europe) in order to offer visitors and bargain hunters a wide choice of authentic objects.
