The Trail of the Vaucluse Mountains

Past the gates of this fortress, the paths and monotracks will lead you in a preserved natural environment!
To master these courses, passion and endurance will suffice on the 13KM Trail du Goupil, while it will be necessary to redouble efforts and patience to discover the incredible surprises offered by the Summit of the Donkeys with a beautiful sequence of ascents and descents over 24KM.

The summit of donkeys 24 km, 1400 D+

A real trail course: vertical drop, monotracks, landscapes that overlook the cliff, demanding descents, varied terrain, a streamlined route for the happiness of Trailers! An itinerary made by enthusiasts who dreamed of playing with all the options offered by the Monts de Vaucluse to present you with a breathtaking trail session.

The compulsory equipment for the top of the donkeys:
Runners must provide equipment adapted to the evolution on a trail course in semi-self-sufficiency: A water reserve of 1L + a survival blanket + the wearing of trail shoes + a mobile phone + an eco cup or cup for supplies + a whistle.
Telescopic sticks are toerated (imperatively folded at the start).

Trace du Goupil 12 km, 400 D+

A nature race that takes paths and monotracks to wind through the Monts de Vaucluse and play to guess the silhouette of the village of Saumane de Vaucluse from wonderful points of view. A nice challenge for those who are introduced to nature racing by composing with the 400m of positive elevation difference. For confirmed runners, everything has been thought out to work on the revival on a route conducive to great breakaways!

The Barule of the Pitchouns 1KM

When running becomes child's play with a Castle in the background, bories that mark the course and a circuit that slaloms between the pines. La Barule des Pitchouns is a real invitation to race for children with a short option of about 800m through the gardens of the Castle for 6-9 years old, and a course of about 1200m for 10-12 year olds who can try their hand at a few small turns and slopes with a real taste of nature racing.
