The legendary Mont Ventoux, which rises to a height of 1,912 metres, is revered by poets, feared by cyclists and acclaimed as a prime observation site by scientists. The Giant of Provence and its majestic profile impress and fascinate all who lay eyes on it.
There are lots of ways to explore this magnificent natural environment: on foot, on horseback, by bike or even by car.
Created in 2020, the Ventoux Regional Nature Park protects outstanding landscapes and biodiversity, to the extent that UNESCO has already designated it a Biosphere Reserve. Aficionados of activities in the great outdoors are spoiled for choice here. Once you cross the five stages of vegetation, from Mediterranean to alpine, a lunar landscape awaits you at the summit. The park is also home to over 120 species of birds and large mammals (boar, chamois, mouflons and more).
